Quinta da Zaralhôa is located in Douro Superior, a sub-region of the Douro Valley, famous for Port Wine and also for being the oldest demarcated and legislated wine region in the world.

We are a Family Owned Estate, blending the tradition and knowledge of the older generation with the modernity and inovation of the Younger Generation.

Our aim is to produce high quality handcrafted wines that express the unique characteristics of our terroir and the personality of Portuguese Indigenous grape varieties.

We concentrate our efforts in the vineyard in order to obtain the best possible grapes, with minimal intervention to maintain the identity of the grapes and terroir.

The microclimate of this region, together with a schist soil on steep slopes, create great conditions for a high quality and authentic wine.

Our vineyards have an "integrated production" quality certificate, reflecting our concern with a sustainable development.
